Although women are making progress, there are still significant challenges our program recognizes and attempts to address:

■ Women are underrepresented in leadership positions, just 32% in 2022 - the highest recorded.

■ According to HBR, women are less likely to receive constructive performance feedback, and it hurts them.

■ McKinsey reports that women are often saddled with more non-promotable yet time-consuming tasks than their male counterparts.

■ Women talk less than men in public forums, so many of their ideas go unheard.

■ According to LinkedIn data, women in the U.S. are 28% less likely than men to have a strong network.

■ Zenger and Folkman report that women make highly competent leaders, but a “dearth of opportunity” holds them back.

■ Only 1 in 10 Fortune 500 companies are led by women CEOs.

Program Highlights:

  • Six (monthly) in-person workshops covering essential leadership topics, including self-awareness, emotional intelligence, authenticity, goal achievement, communication, executive presence, aligning with stakeholders, strategically demonstrating value, and getting essential performance feedback.

  • Mastermind Sessions (group check-ins) twice a month. These 30-minute Zoom discussions address progress, challenges, and questions related to each month’s topic. Mastermind sessions are optional and recorded for those who cannot join.

  • Five personalized coaching sessions with a Thrive Leadership coach tailored to enhance and reinforce the workshop content while providing guidance for goal achievement and continued development planning.

  • Leadership toolkit including monthly workbook and supporting learning materials.

  • A small cohort of approximately 12 women leaders provides a confidential forum for extended reflection, challenging cooperative discussions, and confidence building.

  • Comprehensive leadership self-assessments provide insights into unique strengths, EQ skills, personality, values, goals, and priorities.

  • 360 Feedback to better understand impact on others. The Thrive 360 feedback survey will capture feedback on critical leadership skills and show leaders where to prioritize.

Upon completion, the Thrive Women Leaders Network invites participants to join more than 100 alumni as members.
